Hello! I'm Elizabeth 👋
Hello! I'm Elizabeth 👋
I'm a full time artist and illustrator, and I want to teach you how to paint!
I hung the full moon print above my front door to help remind me to bring that full moon energy with me every time I leave the house. It's an incredibly high-quality print, and I will definitely be purchasing from Elizabeth again in the future.
Elizabeth's artwork transports you underneath the forest night sky. Feels like serenity - second best to a nature weekend getaway. Beautiful work!

I love the print I have from Elizabeth! It is the perfect piece to have in my office, especially on days when I am longing to be in the wilderness and not at my desk. Thank you so much for your talented work!
Have you ever been struck by a sudden moment of inspiration?
That's what happened to me when I created my Transformation Collection.
It was June last year, during the summer solstice in Rothbury, Michigan. 💖
Even though the weather had been warm that day, it was starting to cool off as the night went on.
The ground was still warm, but there was a nice cool breeze. It was the perfect temperature.
It was around midnight, but that was early for a music festival.
I was dressed in my music festival clothes, lots of bright colors (pink of course), and sparkly makeup.
I was feeling excited and energized as I walked along the path through the woods.
I was at Electic Forest for the whole week.
If you're unfamiliar with Electric Forest, it's a large music festival in Rothbury Michigan that takes place every summer.
It's the most beautiful music festival that I've ever been to.
The concert stages are spread throughout, so when you're walking from one stage to the next, you get to travel among the trees.
There are art installations, paintings, and other artists' work.
There are lasers and light shows and, like this night, the whole forest is lit up.
It really feels like a magical fantasy place. ✨
It's a large music festival, and there are a lot of people going here and there, just wandering through the forest, heading to the next stage for the next concert.
Everyone is warm and friendly, and they smile at you when you pass, maybe even giving you a high five. ✋
I had some time to kill before the next show, and I decided to head to the Hangar.
The Hangar is another area of the Forest, and it's all 1950s themed.
There are actors playing flight attendants and pilots walking around and lots of little shops and stores.
There's a speakeasy, a hair salon, a massage parlor, and even an actual tattoo studio.
I headed right over to the tattoo studio.
I had been there last year, and I knew I wanted a tattoo to remember my Forest experience this year.
They only have temporary tattoos, but everyone working there is an actor, and they pretend like they're giving real tattoos, making sure to ask if you're comfortable and it doesn't hurt too much! 😉
I went up to a pretty tattoo artist about my age, and she showed me the different tattoo options.
Having a couple of real tattoos myself, I definitely have a style that I'm drawn to. I prefer just black tattoos with beautiful line work.
Then, suddenly I saw this intricate moth tattoo, and I just happened to get the very last one!
While my tattoo artist was tattooing me, we were chatting. She asked me if I knew anything about moths?
“Umm, no not really? I just think they're beautiful!” 🦋
“Did you know moths use the moon to navigate?” she responded.
That was it. That was my moment of inspiration.
I immediately knew that a moth had to be my next painting.
I love anything moon-related, which is a recurring theme in a lot of my artwork. 🌙
How amazing that these beautiful night creatures use the moon to guide their movements!
That's how my Transformation Collection was born.

This collection is a combination of three main elements - the moon, the moth, and the flower.
The moon is ever-changing and reminds us that different phases in our life are normal and natural.
The moth is a symbol of transformation.
Moths change from little caterpillars into beautiful colorful creatures of the night. They navigate by the moon and are always striving toward the light.
The flowers I have chosen are each symbolic of a different attribute you can bring into your home through your artwork. I hope that you love and connect with the symbolism of the Transformation Collection as much as I loved creating it.
